we have had some weird fish stories happen to us.
One time, my son who had just bought a very expensive new lure, lost it to a bass. An hour later, he caught the same fish and got his lure back. LOL
Last summer, my son in law and grandson each got a bite at the same time. Im helping my grandson bring in this 8 pound catfish, and my son in law is reeling his in. When we get it to shore and in the net, it was very dark out, here was both my son in laws line and grandsons line wrapped around this same fish, and not one hook in its mouth. ;D
Best I have done is catch an 18 pound catfish. Had to have a friend of ours bring it in, took him over half hour to land it. I think thats why we love catfishing so much, because they are good fighters once they get close to shore.
